The role is to enable the conduct of business, through proactive identification, assessment, and mitigation, of IT risks facing EY personnel, facilities, and operations around the globe. They will assume the key role for the creation, development, and on-going management and maintenance of IT Risk related training programs, communications, learning videos, newsletters and other collateral. This individual is a leader in the IT Risk Management function who enables a critical service to EY Technology.


  • A working knowledge of policy frameworks such as ISO, COBIT and unified compliance framework

Your key responsibilities

The IT Risk Management function creates and maintains EY Technologies’ risk management framework, processes, tooling, and strategy. Our primary objectives are to enable EY Technology to build a risk-aware culture, reduce IT risk, defend against internal and external threats, and protect client and EY data.

As an Assistant Director for the IT Risk Management function within Information Security, acting as the IT Risk Learning, Development, and Communications Manager, you will be responsible for delivering critical learning, communications, and other enablers to help drive risk-aware decision-making.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Develop strategic IT risk insight through detailed industry research and partnerships with others in the field
  • Design and develop training materials that includes: facilitator and participant guides, tutorials, demonstrations, videos, quick reference guides, detailed learning process guides
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to gain an understanding on areas requiring additional training and knowledge and develop a curriculum and plan to meet those needs
  • Facilitates live training including new team hires and other key stakeholder training sessions
  • Works with key stakeholders to develop and deliver monthly IT Risk Management newsletter
  • Manages internal communications process and mailbox including building communication content and supporting and executing
  • Supports and help to lead team events to include idea generation, coordination of knowledge sharing/training opportunities
